American Craftworks was founded by Caleb Myers on a simple principle: A home should be built with intention, integrity, and respect for the people who will live in it.
Our path into construction did not begin behind a desk. It began on roofs, installing siding, and taking on projects at the ground level of the industry. Over the past six years, we’ve worked our way up from bathroom remodels and independent contractor projects to leading full custom builds. That hands-on progression gave us a working knowledge of every stage of construction and the standards required to do it right. In 2022, American Craftworks was established with a clear direction. Why Custom Homes
Custom homes offer something remodels and volume builds cannot provide. Creative freedom without confinement. Building from the ground up allows for thoughtful design, careful material selection, and craftsmanship that is not restricted by existing walls or rushed production timelines. It allows a home to be shaped around a family instead of forcing a family into a template.

Leadership and Standards
Caleb served in the United States Marine Corps as an Ammunition Technician and attained the rank of Sergeant. In the Marine Corps, leadership was lived daily through honor, courage, and commitment.
In artillery, the standard was simple. Shoot. Move. Communicate. That philosophy carries directly into the way American Craftworks operates. Communication is clear and direct. Standards are established early and upheld consistently. Leadership is practiced from the front. Caleb is on site daily, ensuring quality remains uncompromised and expectations are met at every stage. The same discipline that guided his service now guides every build.

Rooted in Southwest Missouri
As a Southwest Missouri native, Caleb is deeply invested in the communities along the I 44 corridor between Joplin and Springfield. Outside of construction, he values time with his wife and children, church, personal growth, fitness, and continual learning. Faith, family, discipline, and personal development shape both the man and the business. American Craftworks exists to deliver custom homes built with intention, integrity, and lasting value.
